The Nottinghamshire All Round County Championship was held at Nottingham and District Gun Club on Monday, 29^th May 2017. It was an overcast day, with some rain showers making the shooting a little more difficult for some of the squads. The wind was fairly light though, giving good targets throughout the day.

A total of 21 Nottinghamshire shooters entered the event and some very good scores were produced. At the end of the competition Peter Armett and Kevin Warner were tied on 94 but as Kevin had left the ground, Peter won High Gun by default. The Veterans Champion was Ken Rimington with a score of 90, the Ladies trophy was taken by Jenny Hilton on 88 and the Colts winner was Tom Tristram on 91.

The Class winners were Kevin Warner (AA) with a score of 94, Darren Watkinson (A) on 93, E Lawson (B) on 87 and A Nicholls (C) who scored 78.

Well done to everyone who shot the event, it was a most enjoyable day.
