NOTTINGHAMSHIRE Website : Handicap By Distance County Championship 2018
Nottingham GC held the Handicapped DTL Championship on Monday 28th May. It was a sunny but breezy day for the County shooters who shared the event with Derbyshire & Lincolnshire.
Tony Clark added to his 2018 trophy collection, taking advantage of his last weekend in C Class and beating everyone with 96/280 to claim the High Gun.
Jack Richards, recently returned from Australia was just one point off the pace but it was enough to beat Ollie Samson and win the Junior High Gun with 95/279.
With no lady entrants it was just the Veteran’s title to settle, both Gordon Hodgkinson (91/271) & Mick Feather (92/271) were tied and had to shoot off. Mick was the resulting winner narrowly beating Gordon by just 1 point and becoming Vet HG.
Gordon did take home the B Class Shield and Ollie was also rewarded for his efforts taking the C Class with a 91/271. Rob Denoon was the A Class winner with 98/278 and Ken Rimington finished off the class prizes taking AA with 90/261.
Thanks to Carl & the team for a great a good atmosphere.
