Nottingham & District Gun Club hosted the County Handicap By Distance in conjunction with Derbyshire, & Leicestershire on Sunday 8th September 2019.

What started out to be a chilly day actually turned out very nicely and certainly felt like summer at times.

Fresh from the success of the previous day, Notts Junior Oliver Sampson shot on the first squad and set the target score of 95/279 for everyone else to chase.

Andy Cain 96/278 & Rob Denoon 95/278 both came close but Oliver score turned out t be the winning one earning him his second County High Gun & Junior High Gun of the weekend. Andy won the B Class title by default as Rob had left the ground.

Gordon Hodgkinson claimed the Veteran HG with 90/269, Russ Hufton collected the AA Class with 91/258 and Tony Clark rounded of the prizes winning A Class with 93/295.
