Again the County shooters headed to Orston but this time for the English Sporting County Championship held on 5th May.

We had an excellent turnout of 172 entrants. The overall champion was Glenn Buckley on a score of 89, just 4 clays from high gun of the day who was Sam Green (out of county competitor).

Glenn also won his class - A Class. Many congratulations!

Tom Gibson was the Nottinghamshire senior champion, and AA Class Winner on a credible score of 89 on count back with Simon Davies. Again there were no entrants in the junior section, but Matthew Armett was the Colt champion and Megan Gamble the Lady Champion for the County. Stevan Hardy was the C Class winner and Lee Clements the B Class Winner.

Many thanks to all those who entered on the day. It was great to have so many county shooters - even on a bank holiday weekend. And thanks again to Dan, Emily and all the team at Orston for a great event.
