SHROPSHIRE Website : Cadet Inter Services County Championship 2019
Buller Gun Club hosted the first Inter Services Cadet Clay Competition today bringing together for the first time Army, Air, Sea and Police cadets.
The cadets had a chance to shoot a number of challenging clay targets including sporting, DTL and the complex Flush with clays coming from all directions keeping even the best shooter on their toes!
All the cadets that took part did extremely well and demonstrated a great inter-team spirit by helping each other wherever possible.
A number of high profile guests attending the medal ceremony to hand out the medals and trophies including the wife of the late Lt Colonel Max McNamara who sadly passed away earlier this year. As a dedication to Colonel McNamara the overall winner trophy is inscribed with his name.

The next step for the winning teams is to take part in the National Inter Services Clay Competition held in Cambridge on the 22 JUNE 19 – we wish all the teams the very best of luck!
LCpl Charlie Watts recieving 'The Max' from Lin McNamara and Shropshire Chairman Trevor Lewis.
LCpl Charlie Watts was Overall High Gun, Best Sporting Shot and Army Cadet High Gun in a quality and close competition with several other cadets.
Thanks to everyone who made this possible, especially CPSA West Midlands for their support, Buller Range and a lot of our own members - thank you one and all!
