  4. County funds will be used for the following: £20 contribution towards entry fees for main team (team of 6), ladies team (team of 3) and veterans team (team of 3) for one sporting discipline, one skeet discipline and one trap discipline at the West Midlands Intercounties. Costing £720 over the three disciplines.
  5. Purchase of extra team clothing, hats etc. not necessary as the majority of those competing in teams will already have team kit.

County Championships:

  1. New rule to be introduced for County Championships: There has to be at least three people competing in a category for medals/county champion title to be awarded. You cannot take the County Champion title for your category unless three people were competing in your category on the day of the event.
  2. You are not eligible to win/place in your category unless you have completed the shoot and shot the entire course.
  3. Dates for all county championships to be published as soon as possible to give competitors enough notice. Date clashes will be kept to a minimum wherever possible.

Champion of Champions:-

  1. Champion of Champions will be taking place, we will also be introducing a Lady Champion of Champions.
  2. Champion of Champions will be decided on a points system, calculated by the difference between your score and high gun score on the day of the competition.
  3. To be eligible you must shoot one of each of the following County Championships:

FITASC or ESP

ABT or DTL

ESK or SKD

Other:

  1. County AGM is provisionally booked at Gloucester Farmer’s Club on the evening of Tuesday 10th of February 2026.
  2. More committee meetings to take place -
  3. Discipline representatives to be present at a meeting held before the start of County Championships to ensure everyone is aware of what is happening.
  4. Issues with trophies - trophies are not being handed back to the county before AGM, we need a solution to this. A possible solution for this is to have trophies stored in a cabinet and not given out to trophy winners to eliminate trophies being lost or not returned. This will be looked into further before a decision is made.
