The last Skeet Team selection was held at Nottingham on 25^th June.

Top scorer in the Veterans was Steve Pinch on 97/100 followed Peter Taylor and Paul Bingley on 90/100.

Top scorer in the Ladies was Julie Havill on 90/100 followed by Sarah Johnson on 84/100.

Congratulations to Samantha Rhodes on making the England Ladies Skeet Team for the Home International in Jersey.

Skeet

The 2nd Skeet team selection was held at Nottingham & District Gun Club on the 7th May.

In the Seniors Samantha Rhodes was the top scorer on 94/100 followed by Geoff Flint on 91/100.

In the Ladies Samantha Rhodes was the top scorer on 94/100 followed by Julie Havill on 92/100 and Sarah Johnson on 86/100.

In Veterans Steve Pinch was the top scorer on 94/100followed by Julie Havill on 92/100 and Kevin Townsend on 91/100.

County Championship

The skeet County Championship was held at Doveridge on 4^th June.          

In warm sunny conditions Chris Moss won his 1^st County Championship on 94/100.

In Veterans Steve Pinch retained his title on 93/100.

Ladies Champion was Sarah Johnson on 83/100 followed by Julie Darlison on 68/100.

Skeet Doubles

The West Midlands Area Skeet Doubles Championship was held at Nottingham on 9^th April.

Steve Pinch finished 3^rd Overall winning the Bronze medal on 94/100 and won the Veterans Gold medal.

In the Ladies Samantha Rhodes finished runner up on 89/100 winning the Silver Medal. Well done to you both.

 

At the Mick Tomlinson Memorial shoot on 23^rd April held at Nottingham & District Gun Club, Samantha Rhodes won the Ladies class on 93/100

 

Congratulations to Samantha Rhodes on winning the Ladies Class at Nottingham's Skeet Winter Series.

Sam also came 4th in the Super Shoot off for the Lincoln Shotgun.

Congratulations to Samantha Rhodes on shooting her 1st 100 straight at Nottingham's 100 registered Skeet Competion on 18/9/22.

   

 

Well done to Derbyshire's Julie Havill on managing the England Skeet Team to victory at the Home International held at the National Shooting Centre in Scotland.

England just missing out on a clean sweep in all catergories by 2 clays in the Veterans.

Congratulations to Kieron Lomax on his 148/150 on his England Skeet Team debut, and part of the winning Senior Tem and Overall Winning team.

West Midlands Inter Counties Skeet 

The West Midlands Inter Counties Skeet was held at Dovridge on 21st August, in warm overcast conditions.

Derbyshire Ladies won the Gold medal on 190/200, with Samantha Rhodes top scoring on 98/100, Julie Havill on 92/100 and Sarah Johnson on 79/100.

The Veterans Team of Paul Bingley 93/100, Peter Taylor 92/100 and Chris Havill 88/100 won the Bronze medalon 185/200

The Senior Team of Alan Barnes 98/100, Nick Barnes 96/100, Geoff Flint 94/100. Kieron Lomax 91/100 and Conor Lench 91/100 for a team score of 470/500 finished joint 4th with Cheshire. 

Joint Teams High gun was Samantha Rhodes and Alan Barnes on 98/100.

Skeet Doubles County Championship 

The Skeet Doubles County Championship was held at Nottingham G C on 3rd july.

Kieron Lomax added to his Skeet County Championship Title by winning the Skeet Doubles with an excellent 98/100, Geoff Flint was runner up on 90/100, with Conor Lench 3rd on 89/100.

Veterans Champion was RonBaron on 84/100. Ladies Champion was Sarah Johnson.
