Automatic Ball Trap
After some last minute team changes Derbyshire fielded a Senior/Open and a Veteran Team at the National Inter Counties A.B.T at East Yorkshire Shooting Ground.
The Senior team of Keith Ritchie – 89/100, Alan Christie – 89/100, Arron Parsons – 87/100. Tom Waring – 86/100, Geoff Flint – 78/100, Peter Dale - 69/100 with a team score of 428/500 finished 8th.
The Veterans team of Simon Taylor – 94/100 and David Waring – 86/100 with a team score of 180/200 came 1st to win the Veterans trophy.
Well done to you all, and for travelling to shoot at East Yorkshire.
Olympic Trap
The Olympic trap County Championship was held at Doveridge on Saturday 16th September.
Shot over 50 targets Simon Taylor was Overall Champion on 43/50. Veterans Champion was David Waring on 38/50. Well done to you both.
All round
The West Midlands Inter Counties All round was held at Doveridge on Sunday 10th September.
The Senior team of James Wood – 88/100, Ben Stubbins – 87/100, Tom Waring – 87/100, Mark Fisher – 85/100, Mark Allen – 81/100, Arron Parsons – 77/100 finished 4th on 428/500.
The Veteran team of Adrian Hope -81/100, Chris Ford -75/100, Steven Crowther – 73/100 finished joint 2nd on 157/200. Well done to you all
Automatic Ball Trap
The West Midlands Area & Inter Counties A.B.T Championship was held at Garlands on15/16th July.
Derbyshire fielded teams in both the Open and Veterans categories.
The Open team of Tom Waring 92/100, Troy Hunt 87/100, Ian Hunt 84/100, Arron Parsons 82/100, Kane Hunt 77/100 and Alan Christie 73/100 for a team score of 422/500 finished runners up winning the Silver Medals behind winners Staffordshire.
The Veterans team of John Bailey 91/100, David Waring 76/100 and Rob Jones 67/100 for a team score of 167/200 finished runners up winning the Silver medals.
In the Area Championship Troy Hunt won the Juniors Gold medal and John Bailey won the Veterans Silver medal
Allround
The Allround County Championship was held at Nottingham & District Gun Club on 28th May.
Shooting on the 1st squad of the day Ben Stubbins shot 92/100, which proved to be the top score of the day giving him the County Championship, runner up was Arron Parsons on 87/100 followed by James Wood on 84/100, Joss Read on 83/100, Mark Fisher on 82/100 and Geoff Flint on 80/100.
Veterans Champion was Jim Hollingworth on 87/100, runner up was Dave Hinchliffe on 85/100, followed by Adrian Hope on 83/100 and Steve Pinch on 81/100.
Ladies Champion was Samantha Rhodes on 80/100 and Junior Champion was Jack Price on 49/100.

The Automatic Ball Trap County Championship was held at Garlands on 21st May.
In warm sunny weather Alan Christie won his 1st Senior County Championship on 87/100, with Tom Waring on 84/100, Arron Parsons was 3rd on 77/100 followed by Ian Hunt and Kane Hunt both 73/100.
Junior Champion and Overall runner up was Troy Hunt on 86/100.
Veterans Champion was David Waring on 84/100 winning his 1st Derbyshire County Championship since moving back from Staffordshire, runners up was John Bailey and Simon Taylor both on 81/100.

The Olympic Trap County Championship was held at East Yorkshire Shooting Ground on Sunday 13th November.
In what could be described as thick fog making targets very tricky to see Clive Weston mastered the conditions to take the Overall Championship on 72/100, with Arron Parsons runner up on 71/100 and Kane Hunt 3rd on 67/100.
Veterans Champion was Simon Taylor on 70/100.
Junior Champion was Troy Hunt on 64/100.

Universal Trap
The Universal Trap County Championship was held at East Yorkshire Shooting Ground on Saturday 26th November.
Simon Taylor was Overall Champion on 84/100, with Clive Weston the Veterans Champion on 82/100. Well done to you both.
West Midlands Area & Inter Counties A.B.T
Derbyshire shooters enjoyed some medal sucess at the West Midlands Inter Counties A.B.T held at Garlands Shooting Ground on 6/7th August.
The Veterans team of Dave Hinchliffe 87/100, Simon Taylor 85/100 and Rob Jones 74/100 picked up the Bronzemedal with a team score of 172/200.
The Senior Team of Tom Waring 90/100, Dean Molnar 90/100, Ian Hunt 86100, Kane Hunt 83/100, Geoff Flint 78/100 and Peter Dale 74/100 with a team score OF 427/500 finished just out of the medals.
in the Area Championship Troy Hunt 93/100 won the Junior Gold medal and the Brozone medal for 3rd overall.
Samantha Rhodes 77/100 won the Bronze medal in the ladies.

The County Championship was held at Nottingham & District Gun Club on 24th July.
County Champion was Joss Read on 94/100, runners up was Tom Waring and Aaron Parsons both on 90/100, followed by Ian Hunt on 89/100 and Gary Parsons on 83/100.
Veterans Champion was Dave Hinchliffe on 90/100 with Geoff Smith runner up on 89/100, followed by Simon Taylor on 88/100 and Steve Pinch on 81/100.
Ladies Champion was Samantha Rhodes on 70/100. Junior Champion was Troy Hunt on 89/100.
