Today we started the 2024 Nottinghamshire county championship season with 100 Single Barrel.

After losing an hours sleep and waking up to thick fog it was going to be a day of two halves the first half foggy and the second half windy.

With a splattering of 90’s and a 92 coming from the early squads there was always a chance as the sky cleared for a higher score to appear…. and it did as Russ Hufton managed to hold his nerve and post a 93/100 to take the win by just one target from Gerry Stevenson on a 92/100.

Posting a 90 for third place was Rob Denoon while Olivia Stevens kept her current form by winning both the Ladies High Gun and the Junior title.

Well done to everyone that joined us today and congratulations to all of our county winners.
