Nottinghamshire Skeet Doubles County Championship.

Well we were greeted this morning by storm Kathleen who seemed to have taken no notice of it being a county championship and was determined to blow away any cobwebs we may have gathered since the last storm.

This didn’t deter the shooters who wanted to get their first supreme championship score under their belt.

Although the wind stayed quite consistent in the morning it did seem to actually get slightly worse in the afternoon, Kevin Holliday went out to lead the charge with his 83/100 and held for quite sometime.

Until the last squad headed out with Rob Denoon and Tom Clifford slugging it out for the title all the way from start to finish but as the last clay was smashed Tom had held on to the lead by just one point leaving Rob to settle for second place and Kevin Holliday taking third overall.
