Minutes

Chairman: 

                        It’s been a quiet month but Widdington have now agreed to host the first of this year’s Sporting Challenges.

 

Treasurer's Report:

                        £1457 in the bank, £80 still to come out for Sporting Challenge.

 

Secretary's Report:

                        It was agreed that the secretary will accept the future competition dates provided by Brook Bank.

 

County Championships:

The dates for this year’s championships are currently:

  • FITASC – Gunsite – 26/3/17
  • A/R – Brook bank – 14/4/17
  • OT – Brook bank – 30/4/17
  • DTL – Urchfont – 23/7/17
  • ABT – Brook bank – 23/7/17
  • UT – Brook bank – 30/7/17
  • SB – Urchfont – 13/8/17
  • Sportrap – Barbury – 3/9/17
  • ESP – Urchfont – 24/9/17
  • ESK – Gloucester - TBD
  • OSK – Gloucester - TBD

 

 

 

Sporting Challenge:

            The dates for this year’s Sporting Challenge are:

  • Widdington – 23rd July
  • Barbury – 27th August
  • Urchfont – 24th September
  • Gunsite – 8th October

Teams:

            It was agreed to create sheets for names and addresses for each discipline and put more in Pull (e.g. Please see committee member at a shoot if interested in team events).

 

Trophies:

            Phil & Pauline Stokes have bought a Veteran’s Supreme Sporting Trophy. Sean Ponting and John Peck have expressed a willingness to buy a trophy each. Jamie Campbell will buy an OSK Senior’s trophy.

 

SW Regional meetings:

Since it is difficult for the county’s regional committee members to commit to every regional meeting, it was agreed that all county members can be co-opted for regional meetings.

                        To be held on May 15th 2017 at the George and Dragon in Potterne at 8pm.
