Beds, Northants & Cambs FITASC Championships
Sporting Target, 5th, 6th & 7th April 2024.
After a week of unsettled weather the rain stayed away but strong winds were experienced on all three days, the direction was the same but it varied in strength.
The competition consisted of 4 layouts; Embankment/ Plantation, Basin, Quarry & Skeet with a large mixture of targets both in distance and angles using 60, 70, 90mm, battue rabbit and standard. Skeet shot the harder of the 4 layouts with basin the softest.
David Ferriman & Jo Smith took joint overall High Gun on an impressive 93, along with the Beds & Northants titles, well shot guys.
We had 14 Beds, 11 Northants & 14 Cambs shooters
