Compak Sporting Championships 2026
Bank Holiday Monday of the Easter Weekend saw the Suffolk CPSA Compak Sporting Championships take place at High Lodge. The wind from storm "Dave" had subsided leaving a much calmer day for clay shooting.
The field was particularly strong this year, with many national champions attending the shoot. A fantastic showing from the Suffolk shooters left Harry Jude as the County Champion with a 94/100, Veteran Champion Matt Watling only 1 behind with a 93/100, Junior Champion Seth Peters a further 1 behind on a 92/100, and Ladies Champion Pauline Chapman another 1 behind that on a 91/100. A very strong and consistent showing from our County Champions for sure, and a credit to the course keeping the scores high but still challenging the entrants!
Sadly no photos of our winners this year, but there will be the presentations taking place at the AGM in January where all keepsakes will be awarded and there will be plenty of opportunity for photos then too! Meantime we will try and catch up with the winners and the trophy to see if we can update the website.
