DTL Championships 2026

 

The Eriswell Lodge Wednesday evening Championships kicked off tonight with the DTL. Dominated over the last several years by the trap shooters, would this year see a winner from outside that group?

The scores were ticking along nicely, with several missing only a handful resulting in a small number of dropped points. However, despite the best efforts of some of the Sporting and Skeet shooters, it was again the trap shooting guys and girls that secured their positions at the top of the leaderboard! Geoffrey Howlett shot a 50 straight with only 3 second barrles to score an impressive 147/150, Jo Fairclough shot a superb 49/50 and ended on a 141/150 to secure Ladies, Nick Havard took the Veterans with a 47/50 scoring 138/150, and Albert Claxton took Juniors wth a 43/50 scoring a 122/150.

Well done to all, and thanks as always to the Referees for sitting out in the sunshine for you!
