English Sporting Masters 2026

 

The 2026 English Sporting Masters was held at Eriswell Lodge on the 14th June. A great turnout for the event, 134 to be precise, ensured a nice prize fund was up for grabs - along with the £320 sponsored prize pot from Eriswell Lodge.

Early scores coming in were showing the round as being failry tough, but as the number of entries rose, so did the leading scores! Brad Jarvis from Essex and Joe Norman-Hinchliffe of Norfolk each posted an astonishing 97 - although Joe believed there was a bigger score to be had..... - to lead the field for the rest of the shoot.

Suffolk's Peter Mayhew put a 93 in to secure both the County Champion and Veteran Champion titles, with Albert Claxton taking the Juniors on an 86. Unusually for the Suffolk Sporting events we had no Lady entries, but hopefully there will be more attending the upcoming championships.
