A big thank you to the members of the Warwickshire teams at today West Midlands Inter-Counties English Sporting Championship. Unfortunately we were without some key members but the senior team of Carl Bloxham, Paul Batchelor, Ade Pope, Mark Webster, Charlie Harrison and David Wolverson battled hard but finished just outside the medals, Similarly the veteran team of Les Kaye, David Pryce and Rob Eduljee were thwarted by some outstanding scores from other counties. We were only able to field two shooters in our ladies team, but that was enough as Megan Jones and Lynette Briscoe held their nerve and finished in the gold medal spot just one target ahead of Gloucestershire. What a strong junior team we had in Brody Woollard, Callum Jones and Michael Wolverson. The gold medal looked theirs on paper and that's exactly what they achieved - the future looks bright.
