CORNWALL Website : Equality Policy
The Cornwall Committee fully subscribes to the CPSA's Equality Policy which is detailed on the CPSA Website - part of our mandate is to develop the sport of clay shooting for ALL - this approach is also reflected in our County Motto "Onen Hag Oll" that is "One and All".
Two parts of the above Policy are worth paraphrasing:-
1) The Clay Pigeon Shooting Association Ltd (CPSA) is fully committed to the principles of equality of opportunity and is responsible for ensuring that no job applicants, employees, consultants, Directors, volunteers or participants (referred to in this document as "Stakeholders") are unlawfully discriminated against because of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.
2) Harassment: engaging in unwanted conduct relating to a relevant Protected Characteristic or unwanted conduct of a sexual nature where the conduct has the purpose or effect of violating the recipient's dignity or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for the recipient, or any other individual affected by such conduct. The CPSA is committed to ensuring that its Stakeholders are able to conduct their activities free from harassment.
The CPSA have a further Safeguarding Adults at Risk Policy available on their website which further relates to Equality and includes details of the 'whistle-blowing' procedure.
