     Ronnie's Bio of 2018

 

A year of hard work including self analysis and discovery of what I really want out of the sport as I plan for my future in shooting for 2019 and beyond. 

 

Looking back, 2017 was a difficult year with a lot of sadness in my family which bled into the early part of 2018 but with the positive people that surround me and the amazing support they gave me,  I was able to turn 2018 in to an amazing year of achievement by reaching a major sporting goal of shooting for the 

GBR-BICTSF COMPAK TEAM.

 

This is a huge personal achievement and not something that can simply be bought, it has to be earned by honing what you have and trying to repeat the results of the hard work. I have had to climb lots of personal obstacles to make the transition to this level of shooting and that is where the prize of personal achievement  is found.

On a County representation level and with working mostly seven days a week every week, I haven't had much time to hit the competition circuit and so just train / practice after work in the summer or if it quietens down a bit when I'm working at the shooting ground.  I managed to win three County titles and Kent Junior 2018 title.

A massive thank you to everyone that has supported me this year in my shooting, my work and what I have had to do to make things happen.

 

Not as many titles as past years for the sole reason of timing and adjustments in my life

but for me and I hope for my sponsors, making the GBR Compak team and representing my Country in the European Championships crowns everything I have done before.
