Area & Inter County ABT Competition at Garlands on 15 th &

16 th July 2023.

As many of you are aware the weather conditions for this shoot on the Saturday were not
perfect to say the least and Sunday had its issues as well!
However, putting the weather to one side for a moment I would like to thank all the
Hereford & Worcester shooters that attended the event, represented and supported our
County.
The team scores were 5 scores from 6 shooters to count and the County Team scores are
listed below.
There were medals for Ladies, Veterans or Juniors categories at this ABT Inter County
event, but it was sadly not well attended and we had to remove or withdraw our Ladies,
Veterans and Junior Teams due to illness and lack of support.

Area & Inter County Olympic Trap Competition at Fauxdegla

on the 9th July 2023.

Fauxdegla looked spectacular with the sun on the hills for this Inter County event.
Mike & Debbie were away sunning themselves and so the Team at Fauxdegla took on the
responsibilities and Ben was a great host.
We entered a Team as listed below and were happy to do the best we could for our
County.
I have shot Olympic Trap many times, but it seemed like I was having a male
menopausal day!
Thankfully others in the Team managed better than I did, and we managed to get some
good scores on the sheet.
Many thanks to all the Team members and to Fiona for acting as a Reserve on the day.
Personally, after the third squad I was looking at golf clubs on Ebay and after the fourth
squad I had made the purchase.
