2026 Dorset CPSA County Championships

The Dorset Region of the CPSA as a committee arrange fixtures for annual County Championship and team selection for inter county team events for both domestic and international disciplines. The High Gun of each county championship discipline will be awarded the title of Dorset County Champion for that year and be awarded a perpetual trophy, in addition to the outright champions trophy their are awards for the top Veteran, Lady and Junior in those disciplines that attract a regular attendence of five or more shooters in those categories.

Where possible events will be held at the most suitable venue for the discipline and if possible within the county of Dorset with fixtures held either on a Sunday, Saturday or bank holiday if possible.

Priorty consideration for fixtures in order of importance:

CPSA Registered Ground that stages CPSA National championships and or England/GB team selection shoots for that discipline.

CPSA Registered Ground that stages CPSA inter county and or regional Championships for that discipline.

CPSA Registered Ground that stages regular CPSA registered competitions for that discipline.

Venue within the county of Dorset.

Venue within an adjoining county with Dorset.

Venue within region (South West)

Sunday or Bank Holiday fixture.

Saturday Fixture.

Mid week Fixture.
