STAFFORDSHIRE Website : DOUBLE RISE TEAM

Welcome to the Staffordshire CPSA Double Rise (DR) Page
Double Rise (DR) is shot like DTL, but two targets are thrown at the same time, one going right and one left. Five doubles are shot at each stand, so 50 targets make one round. One point is awarded for each target hit.

Double Rise County Championship 2017
There was a great turnout for the Staffordshire Double Rise County Championship held at Ranton Gun Club.
The weather was good to us all until around lunchtime then the wind came along with a bit of rain. Still, it is June, so what else should we expect!?
34 shooters took part on the day with 26 shooters from Staffordshire - a great turn out.
The Results
Staffordshire County Champion
David Malpass with a winning score of 81/100

Keith Smith was runner up with 77/100
Darren Wood & J Nealen were joint third with 72/100
Staffordshire Lady & Junior County Champion
Leah Southall with a winning score of 60/100

Dawn Morgan was ladies runner up with 54/100
Gill Grealey came third with 53/100
This was the very first time that Leah had shot DR, so a very well done to her for the great winning score. Leah said she is now looking forward to the Single Barrel championships on 4th of July at Ranton.
Thank you to all the team at Ranton GC for a great day.
