💥 Single Barrel County Championship – 7 July 2024 💥

The weather at Ranton Clay Target Club did it’s usual thing for July, giving us everything from heavy rain to blue skies and sunshine and quite a lot in between. But well done to everyone who came along and took part in our Single Barrel County Championship.

Delighted to report that our County Champion for 2024 is Craig Nightingale whose brilliant 99ex100 saw him finish 6 ahead of Dave Malpass with John Simmons and Colin Heathcote sharing third place. 

Some consolation for Colin Heathcote was taking the Veterans title.  And many congratulations to our new Single Barrel and DTL Team Manager, Valerie-Anne Barrow who shot out of her boots to take the Ladies title, ahead of Carole Wilson and Nicky Pleavin.

A big thank you to David Brent and Ranton for looking after us and running a smooth event and of course, as always, to the referees too.

Well done to everyone who took part in our Single Barrel County Championship at Ranton Clay Target Club today.

Weather was kind, which is always a bonus and there was a good turnout with 23 entries.

Congratulations to Dave Malpass who successfully defended his title with a superb 92ex100.

Congratulations to all those who took part in the Single Barrel Staffordshire County Championship at Ranton Clay Target Club today.

The day started cool and showery but the sun was threatening to come out by the end. A good number shooting, with 27 taking part.

 Single Barrel County Championship - 4 July 2021 

Many thanks to Ranton Clay Target Club for putting on an excellent Single Barrel competition on Sunday. Despite a ropey forecast, we managed to dodge most of the showers and had a cracking day.

Congratulations to Jason Findlay who won seniors with 94ex100, to Kellie Anderson (Ladies) and to Keith Barningham (Veteran) - great shooting.

Well done to everyone who took part and thanks again to all at Ranton for putting on a great shoot.
