DALE HOUGHTON - DOUBLE RISE CHAMPION 2024

We re-scheduled our Double Rise championship from 20th October because of the awful weather that weekend and what did we get in its place - pigging Storm Bertie.

It blew a hoooly at Priory CTC and with the dark overcast, foreboding skies it made it a challenging affair.

It was probably Storm Bert  (the miserable so and so!!) that kept some away but a full squad of mad hatters fought their way through it.

Not put off by the conditions, Dale Houghton put in a brilliant display to take the title.
