LINCOLNSHIRE OLYMPIC SKEET CHAMPIONSHIP

HELD AT THE PRIORY CLAY TARGET CENTRE

ON SUNDAY 18TH JULY

MATTHEW ROBINSON - OLYMPIC SKEET CHAMPION 2021

The reduction in target numbers from 100 to 50 proved to be popular last year so it has been repeated and once again it was twinned with Norfolk and Cambridgeshire so although entry numbers compared to other disciplines were not high, it is now been turned into a very worthwhile competition.

This discipline requires super fast reactions and super concentration to cope with the varying seconds of delay in sending the target.  Matthew Robinson proved he had both of these skills as he took the top slot for the whole competition and claimed the Lincolnshire title with a score of 37/50 beating the Cambridgeshire duo of TIm Jones and Chris Cheng into 2nd place with their tied scores of 35/50.  Second place for Lincolnshire was taken by last year's Olympic Skeet champion, Keith Simpson, who posted a very tidy 31/50

Well shot everyone
