LINCOLNSHIRE OLYMPIC SKEET CHAMPIONSHIP

HELD AT BEVERLEY & EAST YORKSHIRE SHOOTING GROUND

ON SATURDAY 22ND MARCH

MATTHEW ROBINSON - OLYMPIC SKEET CHAMPION 2025

If you have lightening quick reactions and nerves of steel Olympic skeet may just be the discipline for you but the speed of the target and the time delay on target release makes this the most exacting of disciplines and is definitely not for the faint hearted.  With only a small number of grounds having this discipline on offer the opportunity to practice tends to be fairly limited but having tried it a couple of years ago Lincolnshire skeet shooter, Matthew Robinson, has since shown that he is more than up to the job and has once again taken home the trophy.

This event was also twinned with the East Midlands Olympic skeet championship so Matthew picked up both trophies and was joined by fellow Lincolnshire shooter, Keith Simpson, who picked up the East Midlands veterans trophy.

Matthew Robinson - East Midlands Olympic Skeet champion and Keith Simpson - East Midlands Veteran champion
